Drones a great success

the drones really are huge success , have killed many militants who would otherwise still be around plotting jihad attacks on ourselves.Good riddance. They are very accurate with an unmatched record in getting who theyre supposed to get, with in fact --minimal- "collateral damage" As usual the civil-liberties lawyers will cry for trials and due process..so then let the lawyers convince a car load of militants in Yemen or Pakistan to come in..a lot of the whining on the drones really is pro-Islam.

"Police in USA use camera drones/quadcopters. Queensland surf life saving has applied to use drones for "our safety". Permission has been sought in USA for 24 hour military drones with weapons to be allowed to "protect" them. Police here have near silent helicopters hovering a mile or so up with cameras beyond belief that could use facial recognition, behaviour analysis, and data retention should the department deign. How long before we are "protected" by 24 hour drones - an economic decision?"

Brave Soldiers

First we had the 'our brave GIs'. The six-feet soldiers with 20k of protective military armour after fighting for 22 years, running away with their tail between the legs from 4 feet tall Vietcong. Now we have the GIs fighting the turbaned Taliban for over a decade and withdrawing. But killing civilians with Drones piloted by brave 'Screen pilots' sitting 20k kilometre away in safe hideout of Pentagon! Some brave, ethical USA Administration! What happened to the call 'let us die like Brave men'?

Who's the terrorist?

A recent Drone Summit in DC , highlighted many of the issues around this newest form of american war, including defining who the "terrorist" really is? The drone operator, or the shadow on the ground in one of the 5 countries that the US attacks with drones? A lawyer for the roughly 900 civilian victims of these inaccurate flying killers was initially denied entry to the US from Pakistan, as the US don't want negative publicity. Today, NATO admitted killing an afghan mother and her 5 kids,
