Another sad story from Cambodia
Alex your are correct on the current climate in Cambodia and it is sad to see another enviromental activist have their life cut short. But there is hope as demonstrated in the video where his supporters has protected him and made their voices heard in the protest. It is now up to his supporters and fellow Cambodians to take note that corruption has a time limit.

Reference to above comment and Thank you to SBS dateline!
First of all, I would like to thank you to SBS Dateline for this video. As a Khmer I'm proud of Mr. Chut Wutty and his works for Cambodia. For the comment poster above, I would like to say the name spelling not always as you hear the sound in Khmer, but sometime it is according the spelling that person's name using in "Latin". I think if his name spelling from the Khmer's sound it could be like you said "Chhut Wutty" or Chhut Vuthy" etc... He is using English sound "CH.." instead of "CHH.."

Chut Wutty's spelling is correct
David, what a wonderful story you've made. No doubt, Chut Wutty is one of the bravest men in Cambodia. His fearless campaigns have earned the wrath of many corrupt officials and greedy and dodgy businessmen who are, as suggested in this story, probably involved in drug production. "Chut Wutty" was how it appeared on his official documents ,so we should spell it that way. "Chhuth Vuthy" is the correct spelling, but we must follow the spelling used in his official documents.

Chhut Wutty's spelling
It's a great program. Thanks for putting the story together, David. In the current Cambodian social, judicial and political climate, there's no hope whatsoever that justice will be served for Chhut Wutty, his family and friends. Till now, there are still many unsolved murder cases of activists who speak out against social unjust. International community must put pressure on the current Cambodian government. Just a minor correction, this is how "Chhut Wutty" should be spelled. Cheers, AK
