Not shown in USA

The United States government has so much control over the media and what is shown on tv, that this show was not aired in the U.S. The control has been much worse since Obama became President. I often have found out things about my own country from friends in other countries. I did not see this program, but I wish it would have aired here. There is such a thing as the working poor in America. You can work 40 + hours a week and still not to pay for basic necessities such as food and housing.

Heartbreaking

It is heartbreaking as a person who was born in the United States and who attended university in its capital to see my fellow Americans and their children starving. While living there I had met many genourous and caring Americans, truly wonderful people, I just hope a few congressman got to see the interview with children it might change their point of view. I have been thinking about this video everyday since I viewed it.. I think everyone should see it. Well done Hillary and Yalda,and thankyou

Why they do not go and fix up the building to live in. The police WILL come in a shoot them! America has one of the most violent police forces in the world! They shoot to kill first, when it was found un-necessary they get a pass. Only 1 out of 1000+ BAD police shooting EVER go to court! Yah! Right live in the abandon building only to be shot like a rat! It is a good thought in theory but the police will be happy to exterminate you.

Been 3 years Time to stop blaming Bush!

I fly out tomorrow! Moving to Mexico from America, this is the only place I can live on my 100% disability from the American Army. The American government SOLD us all out. NO! it's not the Republicans it's not the Democrats It's ALL of them! They whole U.S. government are crooks and will sell out to the highest paying lobbyist they can get. And out Justice system? Or more aptly called our "Just Us" System! America makes money off of putting their people in prison! Iowa have 7 prisons!

Helping people

Is there a way to help that poor guy who couldn't afford his operation? Maybe some sort of appeal to raise funds?

Outrageous

To think that the American Government is letting its people starve while they pay out billions for a reelection campaign is shocking. My heart goes out to all these families that have been forced into poverty because of capitalist greed. This should not be happening in a first world country, and if people think that it cannot happen here, they are very much deluded.

Americas Shame

I think it should read Same On Dateline. As a great fan of Dateline I was surprised and dismayed at Datelines own political agenda on this program, I thought SBS was one of the most unbiased tv channels but this has now bought into question my beliefs. Oh Dear Dateline really trying to persuade that the opposition to Obama is good HELP !!! Where will we go next?
