Eddie Cockrell is a film critic, feature writer and consulting programmer. His reviews, profiles and columns have appeared in The Australian, Variety, The Sydney Morning Herald, The International Film Guide, The Washington Post and on the Nitrate Online website. For many years he programmed The American Film Institute repertory cinema at Washington D.C.’s Kennedy Center. He has written catalogue program notes for The Museum of Modern Art in New York, Goethe Instituts in Washington and Montréal, and film festivals in Sydney, Washington, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and The Hamptons.
