Pick of the Week: Living with the Amish (Wednesdays 7:30pm SBS ONE)

In SBS's recent doco series Meet the Amish, we saw the culture shock experienced by Amish teenagers who left their homes to experience the lifestyle of their counterparts in the UK. Now the Amish get a chance for revenge. Six British teenagers must abandon their usual luxuries and head off deep into Amish country to learn about buggies, beards, bonnets and barn-raising. As with the first series, this is sensitively handled without exploiting any of the participants. Both sides get a chance to better understand the differences and similarities between their cultures.

Other Highlights:

Afghanistan: The Great Game
(Wednesday 9:30pm SB S ONE)
Surviving Terror (Sunday 9:30pm SBS ONE)
