Byron Bay Film Festival and ScreenZone Media team up for doco prize

For the second year running, the 2013 edition of the Byron Bay Film Festival will feature a $5,000 ScreenZone International Documentary Prize.

According to the press release: “With its non-exclusive contracts and worldwide delivery platform, ScreenZone offers a real incentive to filmmakers from around the globe to join a dynamic film community and celebrate the power of documentaries.”

To be eligible, a film of any length from anywhere in the world must meet the entry requirements of the festival and be cleared to sell online within a calendar year of the awarding of the prize.

Byron Bay Film Festival will run March 1-10, 2013 and promises more than 200 films at multiple venues throughout the region. For further information visit the festival's website and ScreenZone Media.
