Meet My Wild Friends
This four-part series looks at children who maintain unusual and special relationships with wild animals. Travel to various parts of the world to meet the children who share a genuine bond and common language with their animals.
Episode 1: The Chosen
A hyena in Kenya, an elephant in South Africa, a wolf in Canada: on one special day all three made a unique encounter, that of a child. Jack, Michaela and Neal were the chosen ones. As bonds were forged with the wild animals, each child became responsible for the animal they tamed.
Episode 2: Ambassadors
Endangered big cats in South Africa, wounded marsupials in Australia, abandoned alligators in the United States: Caitlin, Shania and Samantha now dedicate their young lives to saving animals under threat.
Episode 3: The Partners
Tleujan, Arjun and Camille form special bonds with wild animals: an eagle in Mongolia, snakes in India and a she-wolf in France. They may now use the knowledge their fathers passed on to them to create a magical and mysterious friendship with these animals.
Episode 4: Activists
Bernt, Apolline, Joshua and Ondine have become animal rights activists. These children want to prove that every species is important and none should be threatened with extinction. For these young animal activists, the only future possible is one in which all these animals thrive in the wild.
