A Friend of Mine
Credits: Directed by Sebastian Schipper and starring Jurgen Vogel, Daniel Brühl and Sabine Timoteo.
Details: (M), 84 mins, Germany, German
Synopsis: A German comedy about two mismatched friends whose only likeness seems to be their love of fast cars. Karl is a serious young insurance executive sent to drive cars at a car rental agency by his boss, to get a reaction out of him. On the job, he meets Hans, an in-your-face, funny, and free-spirited garage guy. Hans befriends and introduces Karl to his world of spontaneity, speeding down the autobahn in brand new Porsches, naked, and to his gorgeous girlfriend Stelle. Karl loosens up, comes out of his shell and enjoys it, but also finds himself falling in love with Stelle.
