Synopsis: Juli (Christiane Paul) works at a jewellery stall in a Hamburg market. Each day, Daniel (Moritz Bleibtreu), a shy, young teacher passes her stall. Juli admires him from afar, and one day plucks up the courage to talk to him. She sells him a ring engraved with the Aztec symbol of the sun and tells him that within 24 hours he will meet his soul mate who will be wearing the same symbol. Juli plans for that someone to be her, and she invites Daniel to a party that evening. When she arrives with the sun emblazoned on her shirt, it is too late, Daniel has met another, a beautiful Turkish woman wearing a dress with the sun pattern...
