Synopsis: Young and hard-headed, Galya (Yuliya Vysotskaya) comes to Moscow from a coal-mining town in order to realise her dreams of becoming a supermodel. But when she pushes her way into the office of a powerful editor-in-chief of a beauty magazine, she is promptly dismissed and is told that she is too gangly to ever become a model. But through her perseverance and some help from her gangster ex-beau from back home, she eventually is catapulted to the cover of magazines, though in ways she never expected.
