Synopsis: Tai, a South Vietnamese soldier, returns from the war to rural Vietnam and lives in fear of retribution from the Northern alliance. His fear is made worse by his chosen occupation of clearing unexploded landmines for sale on the black-market. His family life, already complicated with two pregnant wives in separate villages, becomes more so. His disapproving brother-in-law, who happens to be a Communist Official, involves himself in the moral judgement of Tai’s bigamy and his involvement with the Pro-American South Vietnamese army.
