What are some Aussie classics that spring to mind? More importantly, what are some Aussie classics you absolutely love?

Meat pies, sausage rolls, lamingtons, the always faithful pav are just the beginning... We’re asking food lovers far and wide to play with those milkbar goodies, childhood favourites and Aussie sensations by putting your own spin on them.

Need a little inspiration? We've got our Top 25 shortlist at SBS Food HQ to get you thinking (and hopefully making).

To celebrate The Nineties season on SBS and Viceland's 1st birthday, we thought we'd tug at those foodie heartstrings. SBS Food wants you to pop your own spin or multicultural twist on an Aussie classic and share it with us on Instagram.

Snap and share your creation and you could have your recipe professionally photographed and featured on our site in 2018! 

We will be selecting 5 winners at the beginning of December, so show us what you're serving up.
