New Adriano Zumbo series on SBS
Master patissier Adriano Zumbo is coming to SBS ONE in February with a new series, simply titled Zumbo.
In this observational documentary, Adriano and his young, vibrant team reveal the challenges they face in running one of Sydney's busiest kitchens, where some desserts take hours to prepare, and others, weeks.
You'll also get to see Adriano turn his Balmain kitchen upside-down to create more than 60 new flavours of his signature macarons in a record five days. As part of this daunting task, Adriano and his team experiment with flavours ranging from pig's blood and chocolate to hamburger and 23-carat-edible gold.
Adriano will also return to his hometown – Coonamble in country New South Wales – in order to cater for one of the biggest events of the year ... his father's birthday.

Hot Tips
Over crowding the deep fryer
Do not over crowd your deep fryer. The fried food must have bubbling hot oil all the way around it for it to cook evenly and quickly. If you put too many ingredients in the deep fryer at once it will reduce the temperature of the oil resulting in a soggy mess.
Glossary
Spit Roast (Razanj)
Spit roasting is common all over Croatia - suckling pig, lamb and beef are slowly rotated and basted over gentle heat.
