From kingston beach
there is something deeply obscene in presenting live fish, having been scaled and deep fried yet still flapping and alive on the plate as a meal- I can't understand how such a thing can be accepted when in australia the struggle to defend battery hens, live imports undergoing terrible stresses, and such issues as mulsing continues.. here, we debate the suffering... I am disgusted, a horrid disrespect of living creatures.. thank you sbs for opening my eyes- though it is not a kind view you show

Clean barbecue with lemon
Cut a lemon in half and spear it onto the end of your tongs. Use the exposed lemon to clean the grills of your barbecue as it is heating up. The acid in the lemon makes this a very simple yet effective cleaning tool.
