I am a huge tea drinker - mainly herbal teas - but I can't abide teabags. With the availability these days of teapots and mugs with built-in strainers there is no excuse not to use loose leaf. Too many cafes still seem to think that a teabag is ok if they present it in a teapot! It's time tea drinkers demand better quality and a wider variety of tea is made available in cafes and restaurants - like coffee and wine drinkers have.

How amazing that all tea comes from the camellia tree - i have several in my garden although not the tea making variety I am sure. At the Armidale markets I recently discovered a lovely lady who has formed a company called TEA PEOPLE and she travels the markets with her loose leaf teas and tisanes - I am slowly working my way through the myriad of teas she has to offer.
