It's amazing how you can turn a cup of coffee into a work of art. In this award-winning segment, master barista George Sabados shows us there’s more to cappuccino than just froth.

George Sabados is an espresso authority. He judges national barista competitions around the world, lectures regularly, and consults to cafes and franchise groups. Coffee art is just one of his skills! and can be learned via his Barista College of Australia.

George is also Executive Officer of the Australasian Specialty Coffee Association (AASCA) which provides a forum for coffee producers, roasters, retailers and coffee lovers to connect with coffee events and conferences within the Australasian region and the world.

This segment won the 2003 Food Media Club's Vittoria Coffee award for "Best Coffee Experience". It was directed and produced by Joanna Savill, filmed by Peter Clark and edited by Toufic Charabati.

How to judge the heat of a chilli

Generally the smaller the chilli the hotter the heat. By removing seeds and flesh this you will decrease the heat of the chilli. Wash your hands thoroughly after coming in contact with chilli, as the capsicin (the oil within the chilli) burns when it comes in contact with your eyes or sensitive skin.
