Croatian Cuisine
Plum jam biscuits
Ingredients
250g unsalted butter
300ml cream
2 tbsp vanilla sugar
400g flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
Plum jam
Caster sugar
Preparation
Mix butter, cream, sugar and baking powder.
Slowly add flour to make a soft, stretchy dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
Roll dough out thinly and cut into 15cm long triangles with a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Place one teaspoon of jam at the wide end of the triangles and roll each one forward into a U shape.
Bake at 200OC until golden. Roll in caster sugar while warm.
