  • Cooking Time: More than 1 hour
  • Course: Dessert

Ingredients

1 can condensed milk
1 packet of HobNobs or Digestives biscuits
2-3 tablespoons of butter
3 bananas
whipped or fresh cream
Flake chocolate bar

Preparation

Sit can of condensed milk (unopened) in boiling water with the lid on for two hours. (You may have to top up the water as it evaporates).
Meanwhile, crumble biscuits - place them in a plastic freezer bag and bash with a rolling pin.
Melt butter and add to crumble biscuit mix, mixing and binding.

Press biscuit mix into bottom of 25cm cake tin.

Put into fridge for approximately one hour.

Take can of condensed milk off stove and put in cold water. Open CAREFULLY (or you'll get 'banoffee eye' says Kate)

Pour and spoon over cooled biscuit base, spreading evenly.

Just before serving, slice bananas and layer over base.

Squirt the cream all over.

Crumble Flake over the top.
