Ingredients

1 green mango, preferably nam doc mai
5 red shallots
1 tablespoon dried shrimp
Ground dried chilli to taste
Thai fish sauce, to taste
1 teaspoon sugar
1 stem fresh [g]coriander
2 lettuce leaves

Preparation

Peel and slice the mango into julienne (matchstick) strips.

Peel and slice the shallots into julienne strips.

Pound dried shrimp in a mortar and pestle.
Mix the above ingredients with the mango and season with chilli, fish sauce and sugar. Mix well, serve on a bed of lettuce garnished with coriander.
