In the heart of Kingston and run by local foodies Craig Mortimer, Shann Howman and Dan Keogh, this is a refined brasserie-style restaurant and an elegant addition to Canberra's dining scene. The sleek, modern interior reflects the menu, which features contemporary Australian breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes such as tender beef carpaccio with fried capers, parmesan and Dijon mayonnaise and oven-roasted pork with roasted parsnip, caramelised radicchio and aged port jus. The four separate balconies provide private al fresco dining options, and the space also functions as an art gallery, with regularly changing exhibitions by Australian artists.
