With a menu as broad and diverse as Africa itself, you can expect something different and interesting from African Feeling. The menu features dishes from Sierra Leone to Zimbabwe and Egypt and includes more goat than one normally sees on a typical menu, as well as plenty of plantain and similar staples. The highlight, of course, is the abundance of African spices that send their unique fragrance drifting out onto King Street.

Hot Tips
Peeling and de-seeding capsicum
Place peppers under a hot grill, turning from time to time until they are scorched and blackened all over. Place the hot peppers in a plastic bag, seal and leave for 20 minutes. Peel, and pull out the core (it will come away quite easily taking most of the seeds with it).
Glossary
Chinese Cabbage
A large, frilly-leaved cabbage also known as wong bak.
