Ottoman Cuisine is the last word in Turkish food across the country. Owner/chef Serif Kaya's masterly hand with flavours permeates the exquisite chargrilled meats and the extensive entrees designed for sharing. It can be hard not to fill up on dips with pide which is baked in-house, but worth it to try the skewered hiramasa kingfish pieces marinated in lemon and bay leaves, chargrilled and served with leeks, or the chargrilled de-boned spatchcock, marinated with mild chilli and lemon and served with cracked wheat pilaff.
Keep an ear out for the specials or ask the waiter to create a banquet for you, and remember the entrees are too good to pass up.

Hot Tips
Resting meat
Never serve roasted meat straight out of the oven. Instead allow the meat to rest in a warm place, loosely covered with foil, for around 20 minutes, This will allow the juices to redistribute evenly among the meat, rather than escaping onto the plate when the meat is carved.
Glossary
Daun Salam
Literally "Salam" leaves, sometimes known as 'Indonesian bay leaves' and found in Asian grocery stores.
