One of the most authentic Thai eateries in Sydney, Spice I Am has been packing in hungry locals and Thai patrons ever since word leaked out about its excellent traditional fare. Forget the same-o pad Thai - you come here for real homestyle food like Isan-style curries, fermented rice dishes, Northern-style pork sausages, and yes, a great version of pad Thai. They pack them in and churn them out, and the benefit is that you get great produce (some of it even air-freighted in) and clever cooking at Thai-riffic prices.

Al dente
Al dente, literally "to the tooth", does not mean sticking to the tooth, rather that the pasta provides a little resistance when you chew it. The only way to tell is to taste the pasta as you cook it - don't rely on the packet instructions.
