Opening late in 2006, this authentic Argentinean charcoal grill hotspot is guaranteed to ignite your tastebuds. Be prepared for a cloud of smoky cooking scents to engulf you as chef Fabio Rodles steams up a variety of South American specialties on the parilla such as the asado el Gaucho - an all-you-can-eat mix of al asado, matambre, morzilla and chorizo served up with fresh salads. The menu extends into traditional oven-baked pastries, frittata and meat-based specialties including steaks, Portuguese-style chicken dishes and pizza selections such as el pulpo al ajillo - a crispy dough base topped with mozzarella, octopus, parsley and garlic. The dining space is cavernous with open brick walls and twin archways leading to an upstairs bar and dance hall where you can sample live entertainment and brush up on your Latin moves. Sample the home-made desserts from centuries old recipes such as the flan a la pati con dulce de leche y crema - a mouthful of a name translating to a delicious pati style creme caramel - served with caramel and cream!
