Squarely within the vibrant scene of the Sydney Fish Markets sits this friendly yum cha eatery. With stunning views of the Anzac Bridge arching over Blackwattle Bay and balcony seating to capture the fresh Pyrmont breeze, Fisherman's Wharf certainly has a refreshing ambience. You need not gaze outwards to be inspired, however. The restaurant proudly displays a state of the art fish tank, the size of which will make you wonder if the Sydney Aquarium is missing one of its displays. As well as the yum cha favourites on offer there are also specialty meals such as the steamed baby mud crab with Chinese wine and egg white.

Hot Tips
Roasting spices
Spices have a much greater kick when roasted and ground just before using. Place them in a small dry frying pan and shake over low heat until just fragrant, then remove from the heat and allow to cool before grinding. Over-roasting spices tends to make them very bitter, so make sure you remove the spices as soon as they yield a toasted aroma.
Glossary
Ice Shaver
