Cold Bohemian winter nights call for solid hearty food, however even in comparatively steamy Sydney there's always room for sauerkraut. La Boheme offers a central European feast of rustic fare, from Belgian-style mussels to Hungarian goulash. The list of mains features meats roasted so perfectly golden that you can't possibly refuse them, even though you know that crunchy skin will play havoc with your thighs.

Hot Tips
Seasoning cast iron
Seasoning a new cast iron frying pan will help to keep it in good condition and help to avoid odours and flavours sticking to the pan. Coat the inside of the pan in oil and place in a hot oven for 30 - 60 minutes. Allow it to cool before wiping it clean.
Glossary
Soy sauce
A condiment made from fermented soya beans and salt which forms a basic ingredient in both Japanese and Chinese cooking.
