Like your favourite pair of jeans, The Music Kafe is an easy fit. The sense of community is so palpable here that you'd be forgiven for finding yourself with the sudden urge to hug a stranger.
At night this West End favourite fires up. Live music is their thing, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more jovial cluster of patrons this side of the Story Bridge. There's no need to BYO walkie-talkie for a tonsillitis-free experience here; the music's loud, but conversation is still possible.
The menu here is a little different - if you like Mediterranean cuisine, then the Greek tapas here will definitely satisfy. Drinks-wise, the range of bottled beers, well-priced wines and the usual spirit staples caters for most. The service is about as neighbourly as it gets. With no dress code, airs or graces, The Music Kafe is West End's living room.

Hot Tips
Over crowding the deep fryer
Do not over crowd your deep fryer. The fried food must have bubbling hot oil all the way around it for it to cook evenly and quickly. If you put too many ingredients in the deep fryer at once it will reduce the temperature of the oil resulting in a soggy mess.
Glossary
Quince Paste
A rich crimson jam-like paste which is often served sliced on bread with manchego cheese
