Ficelle Restaurant
Ficelle Restaurant
196 Como
Parkdale VIC 3194
Phone: (03) 95874422
Although it has the style and ambience of a fine-dining restaurant, Ficelle is actually an accessible, friendly neighbourhood eatery that locals flock to for a casual mid-week meal as much as for a special occasion dinner.
With dishes such as grilled duck breast and leg with a petite ratatouille and star anise sauce, and grilled rib-eye with a vegetable ragu and pomegranate glaze, the cuisine is mod-Oz with a French influence. The three dining rooms are popular for group functions and the deck is a well-liked and pretty spot in the summer months.

Hot Tips
Perfect charcoal
When cooking on the charcoal grill, excessive flames can impart an unpleasant taste to the food. A good sprinkle of salt on the flames will help keep them at bay.
