This basic-looking place has been serving up hearty Indian dishes to its adoring fans in Hornsby for two decades now. The locals have remained loyal to the restaurant that first introduced the area to the spices and aromas of Indian food all those years ago, and it is often full of happy regulars (who recommend you try the butter chicken and the madras beef).

Different paprikas
When using paprika make sure you are using the right variety for the dish you are cooking. The Spanish smoked paprika is ideal for paella, while the Hungarian sweet paprika is quite different in flavour and is ideal for their goulash.
