The task:
When one of our longest-standing regular clients Deloitte, was approached by one of their clients to provide translation, voice over and recording into Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin for a telephone preamble, the team at SBS In Language was asked to assist.

We delivered:
SBS In Language identified the following processes to ensure the efficiency of the task. • Choice of translators. We wanted to identify translators that had either lived in the country of destination or had extensive experience in localisation in those countries to ensure that any colloquialism was translated appropriately.
• Several professional voiceover samples from the country of destination were sent to the client for approval prior to recording in our in-house studio.
• Talents were booked to record at SBS Professional recording studios using Pro-tools sound engineering software.
• Voices were edited, mixed and saved as per client’s naming indications.
• Delivery of files via our FTP transfer.

Outcome:
Localised telephone preambles were delivered in three languages to client’s satisfaction.
