Sporting stars continue to make headlines for acting up under the influence of drugs and alcohol, but the Prime Minister’s National Binge Drinking Strategy asks sporting organisations to be at the forefront of promoting responsible drinking.

Do we expect too much from our sports people? Should we consider sporting heroes more than just good sports? And do we actually like the ‘bad boy’ aspect of some sporting stars?
On the eve of his return to the NRL, Insight spoke with Wendell Sailor about testing positive to cocaine. We also hear from former South Sydney captain Craig Field who tested positive to cocaine in 2001.
