Do you eat your eggplant, broccoli and carrots?

Children as young as 14 year are now lining up for weight loss surgery. With one in four considered overweight or obese, how did Australian kids get so fat?

The food industry says it is a lack of exercise while public health experts blame a toxic level of junk food.

Do Australian families understand what makes up a healthy diet? And how do you get kids to eat their veggies?

As the Federal Government waits for a final report from its preventative health task force, Insight asks if surgery is the best option for weight loss or can we change our eating habits?

We'll be joined in the studio by a top chef, a Biggest Loser, families, doctors and dieticians to talk about our taste buds, our food and our diet.
