  • Sarah

    A few years ago Sarah says she was sexually assaulted by six men. She says she was intoxicated and was unable to say yes or no and was too scared to fight. Sarah shares her harrowing story with Insight

  • Dr Clifton Evers

    Clif experienced the raw realities of sex in a surfing world he grew up in. Shocked by his own actions and those of his peers he chose a very different path. Today he is a postdoctoral research fellow in Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of News South Wales. He shares some personnel stories from within surfing culture.

  • Moira Carmody

    Moira Carmody’s name is synonymous with the topic of consent and ethical sex. The Associate Professor’s research and training programs are being picked up enthusiastically across Australia. Moira has been working in the area of sexual assault prevention since 1983 and now focuses on promoting ethical sex. She works within the Social Justice and Social Change Research Group at the University of Western Sydney.

  • Paul Yovich

    Paul Yovich has been a public prosecutor employed by Western Australia’s Department Public Prosecutions office for 16 years. The senior state prosecutor has prosecuted sex offenders for much of that time. Paul has been involved in advising the WA government on law reform in the area of sexual offending and is the DPP's representative on the Sexual Assault Services Advisory Group, which shares information among sexual assault service providers.

  • Ian McClintock

    Ian McClintock has defended those charged with sexual assault since 1986. The NSW barrister represented the Attorney General on the Sexual Assault Taskforce between 1984 and 1986, when he was also part of the criminal law review division.
