War
Thank you Joe. It is a very complex situation and certainly not one that the average person can make a decision about. However, the recognition of all of the good being achieved and the respectful relationships that have been developed through trust by comradship with Afghanistan people is not to be mistreated in any way. Unfortunately, we don't hear or see anywhere near enough of the facts and what is at risk.

The insularity and vacuity of civilians on military matters is astounding
I really believe that insular, dogmatic, and idealistic civilians who have never ever seen combat and who are bereft of a sound knowledge of the history of Afghanistan should not be able to debate about such an issue. We should not withdraw until the mission is complete. Our troops over there are doing something useful in helping the Afghans to be able to look after themselves and they are doing a terrific job. We cannot let the Afghan people down by allowing the despotic Taliban to come back.

I proud of all my (Baghairat) Sisters and Brothers
I have been here for about 15 months. I want to thank all my Afghani Brothers and Sisters who hate to have foreigners help this is called a real Afghan. foreigners help is like eating poisoni food but unfortunatly they wont get it. We dont need any countries help. if they want to help Afghanistan, help them by transportation and other equipments not by weapons and soldiers. I request from Australia not to help us by guns and do not help black sheep AMERICA. Thank you

Live for nothing or die for something
You might have heard this phrase that says live for nothing or die for something. After reading your comments I think I understood What you wanted to say. Afghanistan has become the main source of targeting other countries at this point. The solution is complicated but not impossible. We (Afghanha) are lacking people in every section in Afghanistan, so it depends, not like kharijee ha are the main factor in distruction of Afghanistan. Its more on us how we see them and want to treat each other.

Afghanistan mineral wealth
For years I have wondered why our troops were "really" in Afghanistan, and then a few months ago it was announced that there is an enormous mineral wealth there ... and instantly it all became clear. Such things would have been known to govt, long before announced to the public.

Afghanistan
If the US, Nato and Australian troops leave Afghanistan, then rest assured the Taliban will start a genocide, that will annihilate & supress the female population and other ethnic minority tribes will disappear from Afghanistan. All these so-called people who are asking for the withdrawal of the troops are refugees who have sought the sanctuary of Australia and has no idea of the consequences. The Taliban are really mercenaries from other countries and are hell bent on destroying Afghanistan.

They should fight for thier country
On the program, most of Afghans are against foreign troops in their country. They do not trust Australian troop but I do not know why they do not trust Aussie diggers in Afghanistan. I think all Afghan men age under 40 years should go back to fight Taliban because shortage of soldiers and they do not like foreign troops in Afghanistan. They can live in Kabu or they can fight Taliban if they do not support Taliban. They can live in southern part of Afghanistan if they were supporter of Taliban.

They should fight in thier country
I could not agree more. Too many young men & women have died or been maimed for life trying too give them the freedom of choice as too how they live their lives.Bring all the troups home & let them stay home & fix their problems in their own way as they do not want or trust the west too help.

War is a Racket
America's most highly decorated soldier, Brigadier General Smedley D. Butler, said after he retired " I spent 33 years and 4 months in active military service, and during that period I spent most of my time as a high-class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall st., and for the bankers, in short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism". He wrote 'War is a Racket' in 1935 (a Feral House book). 'Addicted to War' is a witty cartoon history of US addiction to war, used in California schools.

Western Hegomony
The rhetoric of freedom and democracy and the role played by the interests of Western powers in shaping policy and the impact of the economic and structural inequalities of the world economy is merely a cover for the pursuit of Western self-interest which has little concern for the security and freedoms of those societies intervened in. Under the guise of universalising Western liberal frameworks of democracy and the market, the real needs of the subject of intervention are often ignored.

American leadership
When we discuss this topic not just based on " Australia only but also Internbational relationship" What we really have to ask is "Can we be a blind follower of U.S.?" Japan has been buying U.S Bond but this money maybe go to the war.Japan money should be distributed more evenly.Japan needs western friend to speak up because of English and culture. It does not know what to do. Japan and Australia should be couple like us.This friendship may contributes to the world peace.

Hazarah - 3
Many people believe that Hazarah are Helped by Iranian regim financialy to reach other countries , but no one knows why. Also alot of Hazarah that coming to Australia are not from Afghanistan. alot of them are Pakistani citizens and using the name of Afghans to get visa. this is why pakistani authorithies ask Australia to let them visit detention centers. when a person from pakistan is granted a visa using the name of afghan it is not appreciated because the help is not come to afghans.

answers for Hamed my Bro
Mr Hamed my dear brother , I think you should search about Afghan people who are living in Pakistan . When you achieve all enough good information, We are so happy that hear it from you here. you know many Hazarah people are living in different countries in the world as a refugee and Its should be better that you discriminate between Hazarah people and citizenships. If you are talking about Pakistan there is no complication for gaining a citizen document with just paying some money there. thnx
