What's it about?
The action begins three years after Godzilla took a nose dive into the Fuji volcano and was left for dead. When a flying saucer lands in panic-gripped Tokyo, the crew claim to be from 200 years into the future, and they wish to save Japan from impending destruction by Godzilla. They plan to do this by going back to Lagos Island circa 1944 where Godzilla - then just an ordinary dinosaur - was hit by a hydrogen blast and mutated into a monster. By removing him before the mutation occurs, they can eradicate Godzilla from history.

Puzzled, Charlotte comes back at night to look for him but gets caught by the proprietor of the greasy spoon diner (Yolande Moreau). Charlotte quickly realises she may be next on the menu.
