The death toll from Victoria's bushfires has risen to 173, police say.
Many fires are still burning across the south east of the state, and though weather conditions have eased, they are still posing a major danger.
Kinglake appears to have been hardest hit, with 35 deaths caused by the massive blaze which tore through the town at the weekend.
Among the dead there were retired newsreader Brian Naylor, 78, and his wife Moiree.
Several children - including brother and sister Mackenzie and Neeve Buchanan- died at another house in the town, alongside their uncle, Danny Clark. The pair's grandmother was seriously hurt.
And the bodies of at least six people were found in the burnt-out wrecks of cars on the Kinglake to Whittlesea Road, near Kinglake West. It is thought they were trying to flee from the flames.
Thirty people died at Strathewen, 15 people in Maryville, eleven people in Callignee and another eight in Narbethong.
