Jacko father 'Omer is Michael's secret son'

Michael Jackson's father has revealed that a Norwegian dancer is in fact the King of Pop's love child.

"Yes, I knew he had another son," Joe Jackson said in an interview.

The announcment comes a week after Omer Bhatti, 25, denied widespread reports that he was Michael Jackson's fourth child.

"He looks like a Jackson," Joe Jackson said. "He acts like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson."

Joe Jackson confirmed Bhatti was Michael's son in an interview with US media group newsone.com.

Bhatti sat with Jackson's grieving family at the star-studded July 7th farewell to the singer at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, sparking the media inquiry into his background. 

Bhatti is suspected to be the result of a one-night stand Jackson had with Pia Bhatti in 1984.

"Michael always used to say I was like a son to him," Bhatti said last week.

"But my true parents are in Norway. The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael's closest friend - not because I am his son."

Childhood

As a child, Bhatti often traveled with Jackson and even lived at the singer's Neverland ranch.

Court records show Bhatti was living at Neverland when authorities raided the estate in 2003 looking for evidence of child molestation.

Bhatti was briefly interviewed by investigators and was initially on the defense's list of prospective witnesses. But he was never asked to testify.

Family welcome

Jackson's brother Jermaine has said Bhatti would be welcomed into the family, if he's proven a Jackson.

"If Omer's his son, he's his son," Jermaine told Britain's the Daily Mail. 'We won't deny it. We are going to give him the same love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can't clearly say if he is Michael's but I saw this kid around him."
