Australian actress Naomi Watts has topped Forbes.com's Best Actresses for the Buck list, beating competition from Oscar-winners Jennifer Connelly and Meryl Streep.

Australian actress Naomi Watts has topped Forbes.com's Best Actresses for the Buck list, beating competition from Oscar-winners Jennifer Connelly and Meryl Streep.


The 41-year-old actress is famous for the films King Kong and The Ring, and helped movie bosses make $44 for every $1 she is paid.

He's Just Not That Into You star Jennifer Connelly came second in the list, making $41 for every $1 paid.

Connelly won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for 2001's A Beautiful Mind.

Rounding out the top three is relative newcomer Rachel McAdams, who catapulted low-budget films like Red Eye and The Notebook into box-office hits.

McAdams rakes in $30 for every $1 she's paid.
