Health officials in the Iraqi city of Fallujah are warning women not to have any more children after an alarming rise in birth defects, which some blame on US military toxins.

Health officials in the Iraqi city of Fallujah are warning women not to have any more children after seeing an alarming rise in birth defects, the BBC reports.

A government study shows high levels of dioxins and radiation in more than 40 sites across Iraq. One of them is Fallujah, a city west of Baghdad. In 2004 it was the scene of fierce fighting between militants, and the US Army.

More than half of all homes, schools and mosques were destroyed. At least 200,000 people were made homeless.

Today, on the 8th of March, Afghan women are mourning for the gang-rape of Bashiras and Saimas, for being flogged by most lowed elements, for being auctioned in open market and for their young daughters who put an end to their miserable lives by self-immolation. But the perpetrators of all these crimes are forgiven; therefore they enjoy complete immunity, are still holding their official positions and tightening it through plundering our people and country. Only three comments on this issue ? What the australian public are looking at ? By looking in other direction are we assuming that THIS has nothing to do with us ? And our support as a nation to the empire and its crimes against humanity ? They did it in Vietnam (we were supporting) then again in Irak, there is the proof. The Afghans are next. We are also there. Why we - as a so called "free" (and lucky) country - are following this madness ? Let be clear. Our role in this story is very sad....

It is depleted uranium, and it is intentional. When Rome conquered Carthage they salted the earth, the Yanks irradiate it. We don't seem to need proof to paint non-christian-majority countries in the most sensationalist and negative light, but when the Yanks vaporise tonnes of spent fuel rods by shooting them at mosques and schools we suddenly become concerned about "accuracy" and "evidence". Evil is Evil even, or especially, if it goes to church.
