The biggest problem the world faces today is Islam!.

Stop interfering.

Trent. - from Blue Mts, NSW, 1 year

Good for you Ernie, you have it dead right . Other nations should keep well out of other folks internal affairs and what does not concern them. Was it not foreign interference and influence over time that basically started all this crap in the first place ?, mainly from the USA ,who can't keep their bloody nose out of anything at any time. The yanks don't give a tinkers damn about anyone if there is oil to be had or a sale for weapons. There will never be peace in the world until this stops.

too late

At the beginning of the Libyan conflict, I thought that the west was too slow in taking action. Had they acted sooner I think Gadaffi would have fallen to the initial onslaught. Having said that, it's not all black and white and chances are a lot of the rebels are yet more violent islamic insurgents. Gaddaffi could be another Saddam. eg, a stabilising force for the greater good. My opinion is just based on news and I think you need to study this for a long time to get the full picture.

regime change begins at home

andrew - from australia, 1 year

There's that old saying, 'Charity begins at home'...yeah well so should 'Regime Change'! Really, the United States has enough soul-searching to do on it's own home soil, and it's own people know it; but, the Military-Industrial Complex rolls on!

stay away

Tommy - from altona, 1 year

You're right Ernie, let them sort out their own affairs. As for Jr you're a simpleton, there's nothing inhumane about staying away from fights that don't concern us. Have you learned nothing from Afghanistan,Iraq,Vietnam,Laos,Cambodia,Somalia and a host of other countries. Warmongers like you sow the seeds of future catastrophies.

You are not only ignorant but your comment is inhumane. Remember, WE'RE ALL HUMANS AND AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER ALL IMMIGRANTS. Get a brain and use it jerk.

CLEANING HOUSE

I am surprised at how little responsibility is accepted by the powers that placed all these despots in power after WW2 . None of the leaders in all these middle Eastern countries came to power of their own accord or by traditional means . They were placed there by the Americans and the English , I would mention Australia and a few others but I doubt they had a say . These Western Controlled PUPPET LEADERS assured the Americans and England of a cheap oil supply and cheap slave labour .

Mass march for Palestine

David - from Sydney, 1 year

Time for a million plus Palestinians from the borders of Lebanon, Jordan and Gaza to peacefully march on the West Bank and claim every inch of their territory back.

blood bath

dave - from central vic, 1 year

i think ALL Libyan people better take cover now because if the U.S. is coming in, no ones's safe. The images we saw of the genocide in Iraq proved they will massacre anything in sight. & if they're using Deleted Uranium armaments u can also expect contamination, birth defects etc...God/Allah Help you

no win situation

Ernie - from Geelong, 1 year

I really don't give a hoot what they do in their own backyard so long as they stay there, sort out their own mess, and don't all decide to come to Western countries with begging bowls and then start their rot here once they feel safe enough. We shouldn't entangle ourselves in middle eastern countries.
