EXCLUSIVE: SBS Presenter Anton Enus caught up with Maestro Ashkenazy at the Sydney Opera House to talk about the Asian tour and his illustrious career.

As Japan goes into recovery mode once again following Typhoon Roke, there are still concerns about elevated radiation levels after the Fukushima nuclear meltdown.

However, those fears are not enough to stop the Sydney Symphony Orchestra from going ahead with its tour of Japan - and later, Korea - in November.

The SSO's chief conductor is Vladimir Ashkenazy, one of the greatest classical musicians of the past century.
