An unusual project is successfully helping indigenous people who have been jailed to break the re-offence cycle, using Aboriginal art, Luke Waters reports.

A Melbourne-based programme is helping previous offenders break the cycle of reoffending, by emphasising participants' indigenous roots.

Incorporating the justice and health systems, the 'Keep The Circle' programme has had astonishing results.

Suitable candidates can even be bailed straight into the programme from the courtroom.
