The government is funding projects reaching out to the disenfranchised to tackle home-grown extremism, PJ Madam reports.

There are concerns over the rise of home-grown extremism that is often coupled with violence.

Out of 38 people to be convicted of extremist-related offences in Australia, only one was born overseas.

Now, intelligence agencies and the government are pushing programs that engage with the disenfranchised in order to discourage violence and extremism.

The federal government has announced extra funding to help strengthen communities, Peta-Jane Madam reports.

If there is really the so called ‘home grown threat’ that the government wants us to believe, then: -stop our policy of ‘All the way with USA’ particularly in Muslim countries eg Afghanistan and MEast -stop the importation of foreign half baked ‘scholars’ and ‘priests’ being brought in for tribal Churches-Mosques. -Fund only those private schools that follow standard education curriculum and employ local qualified teachers. -adopt an even handed just policy on Palestine /Israel issue.

Home - grown extremism is a myth designed to divide society and to keep people in a state of permanent fear. Plain and simple it is fear - mongering. If the government was really concerned about extremism then it would do something about the worst form of it: the pedophile scum who are raping and murdering our children.
