Two Aussie women die in Namibia truck roll
A 22-year-old woman from NSW and a 27-year-old woman from Brisbane who were on holiday in Nambia have died after their tour truck rolled.
Two Australian women on holiday in Namibia died when their overland tour truck rolled.
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) spokeswoman said a 22-year-old woman from NSW and a 27-year-old woman from Brisbane died on Wednesday in the accident in Usakos, Namibia.
Three other Australians who were in the vehicle were treated and discharged from hospital.
The spokeswoman said 12 people were in the truck when it rolled.
A senior consular official from the Australian High Commission in Pretoria has travelled to the site to assist the Australians and to liaise with local authorities.
