Your king size Snickers' bar may not be so grand any more. That's because candy maker Mars is looking to downsize its products.

Mars is putting its chocolate bars on a diet in an attempt to encourage 'responsible snacking'.

CNN's Alison Kosik reports that the company is planning to reduce worldwide portion sizes to 250 calories a serve by 2013.

Current Mars king sized chocolate bars can contain as much as 540 calories in one package.

They'll reduce the size but not the price, just another way of ripping people off, all under the cover of looking as though they care about peoples health.
