World's first para-orchestra to debut in Britain

A sitar player who is blind, a pianist with one arm and a former trumpet player who now makes music by blowing through a tube, are just some of the talented members the world's first para-orchestra, Channel 4 reports.

A sitar player who is blind, a pianist with one arm and a former trumpet player who now makes music by blowing through a tube, are just some of the top class musicians making up what has being billed as the world's first para-orchestra. 

Award-winning conductor Charles Hazlewood brought them together.

He became determined to put talented disabled players in the spotlight after his daughter was born with cerebral palsy.
