Victorian crime statistics have revealed that Sudanese and Somalian-born people are five times more likely to commit crimes.

The rate of offending among the Sudanese community is 7109.1 per 100,000,  6141.8 per 100,000 for Somalis while for the wider community it’s 1301.0 per 100,000.

But today, Victoria police backed away from cliams that this may cause "Cronulla-style" race riots.

victoria police, you are a complete disgrace. anyone who is from somalia or sudan. you are welcome here. you are equal. we accept you, please accept us as your friendly community. we will not treat you like you were treated in your own country. australians are generally kind hearted people. don't listen to this bullshit. you are no more likley to committ a crime than any other person in this country. its based on more than a person's race wether or not they will behave against the law

Statistics?

If the statistics are accurate, they should cause no surprise. The evil deeds that many of these unfortunate people have witnesses, suffered and finally escaped, will bring out the worst of anyone. They have no belief that benign persons even exist, that "authorities" exist for their benefit, and that society - by and large - accepts and supports them. Their sense of insecurity and alienation will be with them to the grave. "Give a dog a bad name.." outbursts by senior police will not help them.

i have very strong reason to believe this report has been released on purpose as a preemptive strick against the family of a young Sudanese man in Melbourne last week, who was brutally bashed and murdered by 2 police men. that man is black, therefore he is 5 times more likle to assault me. WHAT CRAP! news reports like this, only serve to alienate and disciminate against a race. please do not belive every thing you hear on the news. there is always a background story or a secret agenda.
