Ideology
Ray - from Cronulla, Sydney, 6 months ago
The American election is essentially a battle of ideology: social equality, social sustainability and accountability against individual growth, individual rights and individual checks and balances. We know that in a time of need, the social outweighs the individual. It is, after all, human nature to work together. So what ideology do we want running this world? I'd personally prefer a socially-oriented one - with globalisation in full swing, one can no longer afford to be an island.
Romney? Really?
Dion - from Glen Alpine, 6 months ago
I am sick to death of hearing how Obama has done nothing. He was left with a train-wreck of a country after Bush, and has spent 4 years bringing it back to life. It may not be perfect, but I'd like to see any candidate do as much as he has. Romney has business experience yes, but is that more important than equality? Romney will further segregate women and LGBT individuals. Obama won't. And Obama has kept the economy afloat. Simple decision really. Obama FTW!
Romney has the fresh ideas and the experience in business
David - from Newtown, 7 months ago
Obama has had no experience in business and managing a company and it shows - he doesn't have a clue how to get the economy back on track and has offered no plan to do so. He doesn't even seem that interested. His last four years as president, has been for the most part, a failure. Romney has a lot of experience in running a business and in turning businesses around, seems energetic and has a lot of fresh ideas.

The world doesn't need another republican government. Look what happened the last time, trillions spent blowing up the middle east, detention and torture, GFC, greed, lies and threats. Go Obama for and second term and repair the lives of broken America.
