Filibuster hypocrisy.
Bernie - from Bronte, 8 months ago
Many suggest that the presidential election has already been won by Obama. That is supported by the Republicans moving their money into the battle for the senate. They currently control the senate and have shown their willingness to use filibuster politics to frustrate and block the governments attempts to implement policy. Of course to come back and blame Obama for lack of action is disingenuous coming from the very people who blocked any action. Sadly this happens here in Australia too.
Stupid Is What Stupid Does
Glenn Ford - from Perth, 8 months ago
When will the American people and the World at large continue to ignore the most basic fundamental way to move forward LEARN FROM THE PAST ,dont repeat the same mistakes previously made and build on follow the path that has been proven and tested,im still shell shocked they are even calling this a close race?,we can only hope The American people remeber a great saying from Forrest Gumps Mum, STUPID IS WHAT STUPID DOES,and they do not repeat the mistake of putting Romney or any other GREEDY POLI
Why does the Obama campaign not conjure the mess of the previous Republicans
Lee - from NT, 8 months ago
Why does Obama tread so lightly when it comes to describing the mess he inherited fromt he Bush administration. Almost everyone concedes the country was on the brink of a enormous economic meltdown. With the rampant deregualtion that Bush oversaw and the consequent rapacity of the banks and private sector why doesn't Obama simply say more forcefully - this is what we had to work with and if you let in the same party you're endangering the small gains we've made.
