The body of a 13-year-old boy has been recovered after his dinghy overturned on a lake in the NSW Hunter Valley.
Dylan Spicer has been missing since Saturday when he and a 16-year-old friend were thrown into the water at Lake Liddell.
The older boy tried to save the teenager but he disappeared under the surface, police said.
A search for the Newcastle boy resumed at first light on Monday, with police divers recovering his body a few hours later at 9.30am (AEST).
He was identified at the scene by family members, police said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
